Hi, I’m Richa. I am an enthusiastic teacher based in Canada with over 20 years of teaching experience. I have taught adolescents and adult language learners at all levels, helping my students achieve excellence in a language they once found difficult. This accomplishment has enabled them to reach great heights in their fields and facilitated their transition into mainstream Canadian life.
As a seasoned educator, mentor, counselor, and speaker, I have a deep passion for education and training. With over 20 years of professional experience, I hold an OCELT designation and am licensed by TESL Ontario and TESOL International. As an English language instructor and Enhanced Language Trainer, I have honed my expertise in teaching ESL, ELL, EFL, ELT, TOEFL, IELTS, and Business English using advanced methodologies.
I have excelled as a life coach and counselor, providing guidance and support alongside teaching English to adults. I conduct motivational workshops on parenting, troubled teens, cyber safety, relationships, and more. My extensive work with new immigrants includes training for English proficiency, Canadian citizenship lessons, and bridging cultural gaps to integrate them into Canadian society.
In addition to my teaching roles, I have organized numerous events for social causes, including those with the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Terry Fox Run, and United Way. I have also run a center for training disabled workers under WSIB, focusing on their rehabilitation and skill development. I have trained many aspiring teachers, offering mentorship and practicum opportunities.
I have received numerous awards for excellence in teaching and contributions to social causes. My commitment to education and community service, along with my engaging and innovative teaching style, continues to inspire and impact learners and colleagues alike.
